Varetta and Graeme Huggins have been happily married for 30 years and are proud parents to a young adult and two teenagers. For more than two decades, they have faithfully served their local churches, leading dynamic ministries for Juniors, Teens, Young Adults, Couples, and Adults. As leaders of the Couples LifeGroup at Hampshire View Baptist Church for over five years, the Huggins have organized memorable and transformative Couples’ Date Nights, Conferences, Cruises, and fellowship activities to build and strengthen relationships. They consistently led weekly in-person and virtual small groups for couples using material from Family Life and other renowned marriage authors. In addition to creating several impactful original series, they just published their book based on one of their most successful series, titled That’s Why This Marriage Ain’t Gonna Last: A Practical Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage. With hearts devoted to ministry, they embrace every opportunity to use their God-given gifts to serve, believing their divine calling is to strengthen marriages and families for Christ.

Varetta Huggins is an Entrepreneur, International Speaker, Success Coach, and Published Author. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hampton University and a Master of Science in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling & Psychological Studies with a focus on Marriage & Family Ministry at Regent University, Varetta also holds elite certifications, including Program Management Professional (PgMP) and Project Management Professional (PMP). With over 30 years of diverse professional and volunteer experience across Government, Professional Services, Education, and Religious sectors, she brings deep expertise and passion to everything she does. In December 2023, she graced the cover of CEO Time Magazine under the headline "Turning Dreams into a Marvelous Reality." Business mogul Kathy Ireland interviewed her on Fox Business News Network and Bloomberg TV. As an author, Varetta released her acclaimed book $500 Billion: The Roadmap to Doing Business with the Federal Government in 2024 and is currently working on two additional books focused on relationships. She is the founder of the Transformation Initiative Inc., a non-profit organization through which she manages V-Events. As a sought-after speaker and success coach, she empowers individuals, couples, families, groups, and business leaders through her events and coaching sessions.

Graeme Huggins serves as the Chairman of the Deacon Board and Treasurer at Hampshire View Baptist Church, Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach at New Life Christian School, and CEO of Graet Advice LLC. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Mount Senario College, graduating Cum Laude. A former Academic All-American Basketball Player (2000, 2001), Graeme also led his team to the Final Four in 1998. With over three decades of experience in Accounting, Tax Preparation, Bookkeeping, and Payroll, he serves a diverse clientele that includes small businesses, non-profits, churches, and individuals. In addition to his financial expertise, Graeme brings over 25 years of excellence in basketball coaching and holds multiple certifications in coaching.
